MOBILE PHONE: 35 percent of residents of Haiti have mobile phones.

TECH COMPANIES STEP UP: Mashable update on tech companies donations.
So far, Hollywood2020.net founder Joyce Schwarz cannot see info on what tech companies are doing to provide additional on-site support. In one CNN news report, Joyce Schwarz heard that an Irish Telecom was on board one of the planes heading to Haiti to assist with emergency mobile communications.
