GOOGLE LAUNCHES BLOG SEARCH.....
click on thumbnail to see our first search on Google's Blog Search tool for what else-- our blog Hollywood2020 of course. No doubt the search is fast. Blogger Joyce Schwarz likes the feature that enables you to put the search into order by date. Why? Because sometime, it's hard to index and find our own blog information quickly. So Kudos to Google for keeping up with the times. What it doesn't seem to have is the emphasis on TAGS that Flickr or Technorati does (Flickr is a Yahoo owned photo-blog community) and Technorati is considered by most bloggers as a 'guru' on tags which give you immediate feedback on the hottest topics for bloggers. Which indicate 1) trends 2) popular culture index --on-the-fly 3) quick updates for cocktail party conversation.

TOP 3 listings as of 6:45 am. PST 9/15/05.....thanks Google...we'll keep watching but meanwhile, we'll have to keep checking Technorati for tags and we love to go over to Icerocket.com because not only do we get great Blog search info we get terrific web search info that includes thumbnails of the page results. Awesome for the scrapbook and a wonderful tool for bloggers wanting to capture where those news stories end up getting played on various news sources and/or trade sites.
