Hollywood2020 blog founder Joyce Schwarz is fascinated by the CNN article that talks about how there is no FINAL CUT any more...In an article on CNN.com, brought to our attention by Slashdot.org titled Whose 'Star Wars' is it, anyway?,with a subhead "The story is over when Lucas says it is" By Todd Leopold, reporte for CNN." Leopold talks about how Lucas and others are changing modern films by adding sequences, characters and even more. For example in ET, Leopold says Lucas changed the police guns for radios because he thought one of the scenes was too violent. There's lots more in the CNN story and it provides some food for thought on what's real and what's REEL in Hollywood and music 
today. But as Leopold says so poignantly, " perhaps, "Star Wars" has become a classic sci-fi multiverse conundrum, with alternate histories and varied points of view. Maybe, in one version, Darth Vader didn't even exist. Or Luke died in a tragic hovercraft accident....check out the full story at tinkering of recent cultural history. In an era where our entertainment has come to define us and to fill, however (un)completely, the spiritual void that we inherited from the Boomers, messing with our stories isn't necessarily a positive thing, creative genius aside."
