ARE MEN NECESSARY?   THAT MAY HAVE BEEN THE SUBJECT, BUT THE SUBTEXT WAS HOTTER...AS SUSJS says on the Charlie Rose forum board, and I thought exactly the same thing and I'm sure I was not the only viewer to think this " What a delightful segment. I think we just watched Charlie fall in love! It reminded me of the conversation that Phil Donahue had with Marlo Thomas when, as we watched, they fell in love..."

Okay, this blogger Joyce Schwarz, JCOM, emerging media may not agree that it was 'delightful' -- I agreed one one viewer who thought it was a bit adolescent-- bordering on charming and what we would have said "GET A ROOM PLEASE"....Charlie is brilliant-- Maureen is a trip -- and at 53 -- she is looking terrific....some viewers guessed she was a decade younger. I just love the description one reporter said she is giving that she could have been cast in the role of the female reporter of MR SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON ...or something like that. Check the news you'll see her quoted as saying that.
