Cool idea that indy networks (not owned by the majors) can band together for great marketing, sharing resources and more. Independent programmers form association
A group of seven independent programming networks -- including The Tennis Channel, Mid-Atlantic Sports Network, and ImaginAsian TV -- have formed a new group, the Association of Independent Programming Networks. The group's mission will be to "help independent channels realize their full potential," according to a written statement. Multichannel News (subscription required)
