AIRPLAY - -we met up with (pictured in JPEG)Chris Bull, VP of marketing for Airplay ww.airplaynetwork.com who was showing off his new interactive experience that is now on the Sprint deck....you play along with other fans and click through the menu and vote on plays etc. According to Chris, they are in the process of launching so players are just starting to register now. Kewl concept-- reminds us a bit of the Fox armchair quarterback gig they did several years ago and some of Proteus interactive mobile/TV duos. But this one's an independent play...you have to bring your own football BYOF!
CAPCOM INTERACTIVE www.capcommobile.com . We caught up with President Midori Yuasa, who is a fellow Marina Del Rey resident and we were very happy to see a mobile WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE game launching along with "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney" first developed for Nintendo consoles and now heading to mobiles..we heard rumor that Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney is only available via eBay now because it's totally sold out-- so be very kewl to get it on mobile-- we can't wait. HANDMARK: www.handmark.com was demonstrating it's on-device portal -- which puts weather, news and other info in the palm of your hand...they were also smiling about the influx of investment they recently gotHandmark rings up Motorola investment My pal MacGuru and head of the Macgathering Deb Shadovitz was on hand to talk with me and some of the Handmark execs about what else -- APPLE of course....!!!
BEST PRODUCT NAME -- TROLLTECH www.trolltech.com showing off their Qtopia Linux phone -- they say they've shipped 4 million already. Karen Lachtanski, Corp Com Director seemed please that we knew it was a Norwegian company-- come on -- us TROLLS know all !
