SPACE TOURIST BLOG seems to influence next-gen space tourism dramatically...Anousheh Ansari says space smells like a "burned almond cookie." And she tells how everyday life is for human beings, not just a crew of astronauts..was it worth the $20 million that she supposedly paid? Take a look at this story:Blog opens window into everyday space station life
Who would have thought that a woman space tourist's blog would be so influential in developing next generation space tourism. The headlines are coming in from around the world. Can you believe it -- she talks about washing her hair in space? Women astronauts other male space tourists -- nothing has had this much influence.

British billionaire unveils spaceship design
Xinhua -
BEIJING, Sept. 29 (Xinhuanet) -- British billionaire Richard Branson on Thursday unveiled a prototype design of the first spacecraft to be used by his Virgin Galactic space tourism service. We hope to enable millions of people to go into space in an affordable manner," the founder of the Virgin Group said in New York after he took the wraps off of a full-size model of SpaceShip Two at Wired magazine's NextFest conference.
WHAT'S THE PRICE?
Would-be space tourists can buy a 200,000 U.S. dollars ticket for a 2.5 hour sub-orbital flight during which they will experience zero-gravity. According to news reports Branson has 200 passengers registered, with 65,000 more people signed up as potential customers.
PAY PER VIEW FOR TOURIST SPACE LAUNCHES? Of course Hollywood2020.blogs.com Joyce Schwarz can't help but wonder what kind of entertainment and memorabilia Branson will tie in with the package. Will you get a video of your trip -- kind of like when you skydive? Or will you be the subject of a Pay Per View TV Special -- so your family can go to a movie theatre just for you? What will be the price of a live feed to your family home? Will you have a wireless camera strapped to your forehead? WIll you be wired for sound? Will it be like a reality show...or will you be part of a real-life video-type game?
We can think of dozens of premium items that will be sold. Plus will each of the first tourists become reality-celebrities? How long will the 2 1/2 hours of fame last? And how much will the autographs and other goodies the tourist take into space go for when up for auction on eBAY?
EBAY SPACE AUCTIONS: Here are just some of the current auctions that are on eBay for space memorabilia.
