WOW, we were just about to blog on the movie "Freedom Writers" blogged by Joyce Schwarz, www.hollywood2020.blogs.com, when we went surfing around to see how the book was doing and what was new with the Freedom Writers Foundation. Here's what we found FYI:

we found out that it says that all proceeds from the book go to the Tolerance Foundation a group

that has been set up to pay for the college tuition for the Freedom Writers. Other sources note that more than 150 Freedom writers have attended or completed college at this time. More on the book and the foundation and the movie later.
