MSN's GOLDEN GLOBE COVERAGE -- more promo than delivery?
Golden Globe content on MSN is available at tv.msn.com/tv/globes2007/.
Promises, promises...the LA TIMES did a half-page story on MSN & its Golden Globe coverage today...yet when this blogger headed over to TV.msn.com/tv/globes/2007 (what a mouthful or browserful that is) during the show all we found were last year's pix of fashions, video from past shows and not even a repeat of their special they supposedly ran at 7 p.m. tonight. What's up? Why can't you update the site throughout the show? According to their press release: MEC Entertainment and Citi Create Unique Project for the Golden ...
Business Wire (press release), CA -

I suppose it's possible that this blogger just didn't click on the right sections of the website? BUT I surfed around there for 15 minutes or show. And of course went and re-read the press releases etc --MSN to Provide Online Content for 64th Annual Golden Globe Awards

WHY DO I HAVE TO WATCH THE GOLDEN GLOBES AFTER THEY ARE OVER IF I LIVE ON THE WEST COAST -- okay I get it-- advertising, prime time etc.
But in this day and age of digital and broadband, why can't you do a pay per view or something like that online if you can't get it to my TV set? And with TV GUIDE's scrolling EPG contracted into about 1/2 inch on the TV screen I can barely find which site it's on. I never did find the Ryan Seacrest show that was supposed to be in advance of the awards...instead I watched Melissa and Joan Rivers-- who actually did an okay job. But what I really hate is they talk about Jack Nicholsohn stopping by -- did I see Jack on the Red Carpet-- did I see Melissa and Joan interview Jack-- I don't think I went to the water closet during the previews? UGHHH.
CHARGE me $10 -- let me watch this "live" at my local movie theatre --throw in a few cocktails in the lobby and I'll even give another $25 to a charity even more....but don't show me an awards show 3 hours later. Even my mom in Ohio knew more than I did about it. And I'm just miles away from the event!
