As many of you know, I've been following women in games (game developers, producers and yes, players) for more than 15 years. In fact, I attended and wrote about some of the earliest women in games conferences, workshops and programs. I was in the audience and talked after to Diana Hawkins (yes, Trip Hawkins former wife) who taught me and others about the importance of 'locus of control' in games and in life. And I even know one of the women developers who worked on FROGGER (later in life she was a client of mine who ended up on the cover of FORTUNE MAGAZINE as a leader in AI).
PLUS I AM A GAMER...and a lover of LBE (location based entertainment). Blessed with great hand/eye coordination I've been able to sit down at several VC conferences and play games with execs who were stunned how fast I beat them. And of course my nephews and niece and other unsuspecting teens are always caught off-guard by this dame who can PLAY games!

So I thought it would be interesting to go back and review the top 100 women in games that Next Gen magazine did last fall. And much to my surprise I see that the list has been updated.
