In what can only be described as a "midnight raid" on assets, the four leading names in the fast-growing internet advertising industry agreed to be swallowed by giants in the last five weeks, two of them in lightning strikes on Thurs. & Fri., May 17-18. A fifth had gone suddenly last summer.
Total price for the quintet: $11.6 billion.
Uproar over the whole scene: Priceless.
