Yes, Hollywood2020.blogs.com founder, Joyce Schwarz, author and Hollywood columnist will be on hand tonight for a premiere for the movie "Project Everlasting", a documentary film on what makes marriages work. Blogged by Joyce Schwarz, www.hollywood2020.blogs.com.
MOVIE PREMIERE AT SEA? Yes, what makes this event special is that I'm on board the MS Oosterdam, cruise ship of Holland America and am at sea midway between Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta Mexico. Sound unusual? Well, since the ship has been chartered by world-acclaimed motivational guru Bob Proctor, most of us on the cruise have become used to the unusual happening here every day. This film was produced by two bachelors according to the info I saw on Amazon.com -- yes they have written a book too about their 12,000 mile journey in an RV across the country to interview couples who are successfully married. Those who said "I DO" and DID!
We'll be back to you with a recap of the evening including some comments and pix with one of the producers who is on hand to host the premiere and a Q & A session after. Their book "Project Everlasting" was published by Fireside (a division of Simon and Schuster) in June, 2007. I'll check to see what's happening with the DVD and if there will be or is a theatrical release involved. Plus, there appears to be other cross-platform content and promo so stay tuned. At least I can say "I DID" -- attend the premiere at sea that is. Joyce Schwarz,
I really looking forward to hearing about your experience of the documentary "project everlasting". I recently watched a presentation and was moved beyond belief. If you get a chance to meet with Mat Boggs...tell him Lindsee says hello! Hope you are having a great time!
