    Fandom Writers to Support Strike?

    A suggestion for fanfic writers during the WGA strike
    I've read some comments in some fandoms urging fanfic writers to stop writing fanfic while the WGA writers who write the shows we love are on strike. I understand wanting to show support and solidarity with them, (even as we're appropriating their material :) but I think fanfic is so far off the Hollywood radar it won't make a difference. I suggest that those of us supporting the WGA adopt their strike logo and put it on all of our fanfic for the duration of the strike. We will still be writing fanfic, but showing our support.
