Officials finally closed the case of Adam Walsh this week, more than two decades after the boy's kidnapping and murder. The case and it's national attention brought the issue of child abduction into every home in America.
The search for missing kids became a major social issue and spawned the Kids on the Milk Carton campaign where the faces of missing children appeared on cartons of milk. Joyce Schwarz was the vision behind the rollout of the national supermarket campaign and in fact, she says it changed her life, as well as the lives of countless others.
Schwarz says the campaign was a natural -- a win/win for everyone involved -- and taught her that if you can envision something, you can do it.
