Last Sunday there was a fascinating segment going where no interview has gone before --behind the scenes at Youtube.com You can find the video on youtube.com.The segment was featured on CBS SUNDAY MORNING but I noticed that it was an independent user who posted the segment on Youtube. I am going to check to see if the segment is now posted on CBS SUNDAY MORNING website too.
BUT as an emerging entertainment and new company launch consultant and an author on 4 books on new media I thought it was worth a closer examination.
So I took screengrabs from the video -- making sure to include the URL's for copyright purposes and I'd like to have you look at them here. In addition, I was facinated by an anthropologist who is teaching a college class about Youtube and will attempt to locate him and talk with him directly --perhaps via podcast --so I can add to this post.
USER-GENERATED & PERSONAL BRANDING of CONTENT
Here are the screengrabs, I believe they give some insight as to where society is regarding user-generated content and in fact- personal branding of content.
