BLUEGLASS LA QUICK OVERVIEW:
Here's a link to peek at Blueglass LA agenda for the two days: http://tinyurl.com/24wot52 . PS Thanks to BlueGlass LA for accrediting Hollywood2020.net to cover the conference.
BLUEGLASS LA BASIC INFO:
At first glance, I'm impressed by the breadth of the speakers set which range from execs at Edelman Digital to Yahoo, to Myspace to Lunch.com and Cheeseburger network plus about and a dozen others in the area of SEO, online content, marketing & social (scroll down for a preliminary list of speakers).
With a little research I found out that BlueglassLA 2010 is a followup to an East coast springtime event called: Search and Social Summit www.searchandsocial.com
The event is being produced by interactive agency Blue Glass based in Tampa www.blueglass.com and LA based Tony Adam (formerly Yahoo, now Myspace) is helping with the launch. Only when I did additional research did I find this quote from Tony:
BlueGlass LA is a collaboration between internet marketing companies Search & Social and 10e20 along with myself, Tony Adam . See more info at this link for an interview with Tony by lalawag.com: Adams interview.

BLOGGER COMMENTS & QUESTIONS from Joyce Schwarz if you're not familiar with my profile see http://www.linkedin.com/joyceschwarz -- I've launched 75 venture funded start-ups including most recently in the news working on introducing Primesense.com (Xbox's Kinetic) to the USA CONFERENCE PRESS RELEASE? So far I haven't located a press release on the event. To be frank I'm still struggling to get my head around what's really new and hot for coverage that you'd enjoy reading as a digital media creative and Hollywood new media exec and content creators. As I tell my clients from www.joycecom.com an online press release posted on any of the newswires or services will get you as many as 200 posts and blogs online in less than an hour --talk about instant SEO. NEXT-GEN SEARCH & DISCOVERY: BlueGlass LA looks very good for anyone into developing campaigns online. Absent from the speaker list are powerhouses: Facebook, Yahoo & of course Google. Sure the agencies the SEO consultants can cover how to work with these biggies but it's always good to get it direct. What I didn't see and I hope to find out for you are answers to the following questions which open the portals to cross-platform or even platform agnostic discovery: Semantic & Contextual Search like:
Google Pushes Semantic Web with Rich Snippets Finding the Relevance in Relevance Engines Linguistics Finds Home In Semantic Search, Advertising (Media Post) Vertical search like: Yummly's Semantic Search Engine Is The Ultimate Online Cookbook For Foodies Video search across platforms: The Next Digital Revolution Is Here -- RCN Debuts TiVo Premiere in Boston and: Practical Analysis: The Project Management Predicament
