WHY do I call DISCOVER THE GIFT a transmedia project?
First -- that is the trendiest word in Hollywood and beyond now to describe an entertainment or info-tainment project which extends beyond the screen and beyond the written word --both online and offline and creates a community, social network and other media extensions and merchandising..
Second -- Shajen Joy Aziz executive producer and co-author and her brother Demien Lichtenstein, co-author, producer and director of DISCOVER THE GIFT are launching the film with a cross-media deal with Random House so that the Film is available as a DVD and the 240 page hard back book from Harmony Books an imprint of Random House is also available an ebook and an audio book.
