hris Petrovic, GM, Digital Ventures, GameStop: As a member of the company’s seniormanagement team, Petrovic serves as the principal leader of GameStop’s digital strategy. He is responsible for building on the company’s ongoing efforts to integrate digital media into the company’s multi-channel strategy, as well as overseeing the development and execution of a digital acquisition strategy. This includes leveraging the company’s unique and distinctive relationship with customers in-store, online and around the globe to drive driving digital sales through more than 6,400 domestic and international stores and on its Web sites: gamestop.com and gameinformer.com. Prior to GameStop, Petrovic served as VP, Digital Media for Playboy Enterprises. In this role, he was responsible for developing and managing digital-focused strategic and business development initiatives for all divisions the company, including online, mobile, TV, radio and publishing. Petrovic was also responsible for finding the next generation products and services and developing launch strategies for their successful global execution. This position places him at the leading-edge of new and future ideas and technologies as well as and new-media business models. Before joining Playboy, Petrovic served as VP, Business Development for AG Interactive, a division of American Greetings. Petrovic oversaw all business development efforts across of the division’s digital business units. Petrovic joined AG Interactive from theglobe.com, where he served as VP, Strategy and Business Development and was responsible for developing and growing the company’s digital and print media businesses. Petrovic is a graduate of Columbia University in New York and holds a J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles. He began his new media career as the CEO of Internet start-up BannerGreetings.com in 1998, and from there went on to become COO of Buzztone, a leading viral marketing agency, before joining the venture capital firm Prime Ventures as their VP of Business Development and Legal Affairs, managing the business development and legal operations of its portfolio companies, including most notably drkoop.com. Petrovic is based in the company’s Los Angeles offices.
Jon Kiachian is the senior director of touch marketing at Atmel Corporation. Prior to Atmel, Mr. Kiachian spent four years at National Semiconductor as the director of personal mobile devices and a director of marketing and applications. During his tenure at National, Jon was responsible for revenue of over $600M for the power, audio and display businesses. He also managed a team of technologists, strategic marketers, customer strategists and program managers. Mr. Kiachian also spent six years at Silicon Image as the director of sales and product marketing, where he defined and launched products that enabled Silicon Image to grow revenue from nothing to over $250M annually. It was during this phenomenal growth period that Silicon Image went through a successful IPO. He started his career as an applications engineer at National Semiconductor. Mr. Kiachian holds a master's degree in management from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business and a bachelor's in electrical engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He was also on the Engineering Dean's List at Santa Barbara and holds certifications in marketing management and market leadership.
Bryan Hoadley is Executive Vice President and General Manager at Movea. He leads all US functions including engineering, marketing, finance, operations, customer support, driving the development and execution of Movea's technologies and capabilities, with a strong focus on Movea's MotionIC® strategy. Bryan is also responsible for Worldwide sales and marketing activities, when joining Movea, he transformed the company that was losing $600,000 a month to a profitable business in a year and a half. Bryan Hoadley has strong background in creating and fostering relationships with customers and partners around the globe, from working with customers and partners in the US, Europe, and Asia. Bryan has more than 20 years in the microelectronics industry. Prior to joining Movea, Bryan spent 15 years in the automated semiconductor test industry with Credence Systems Corp, as Vice President and General Manager, then promoted to Senior Vice President of World Wide FieldOperations. Bryan was a vital component in the success of Credence when holding critical decision-making positions in field operations, sales, and business development. While with Credence, Bryan headed European Operations as President of Credence France SAS, Italy SLR, Director of Credence UK LTD and subsidiaries in Malta, Belgium and Ireland. Bryan managed more 580 employees and four major distribution partners, spanning over 24 countries, while bringing Credence in $470 million in revenue with the deployment of his new strategy alignments and executions. Bryan spent 4 years managing and operating European Operations,while based out of and living in Grenoble, France. Bryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering for California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and earned an Executive MBA from Stanford University.
Jim Gable, Head of Kylo, Hillcrest Labs: Jim Gable is currently Head of Kylo for Hillcrest Labs, a company with a breakthrough pointer system for widescreen TVs. Previously, he worked in Silicon Valley for many years, including as a Vice President at 3Com Corporation following 3Com's acquisition of Kerbango, a company he co-founded. Kerbango built a critically acclaimed Internet radio - a new type of Internet appliance that played thousands of Internet radio stations from the Web. Prior to founding Kerbango, Jim was Vice President of Software Marketing for Apple Computer. In his twelve years there, he was instrumental in shipping several of Apple's most successful products such as Mac OS 8, the original Power Macintosh, TrueType fonts and the LaserWriter II. Earlier, he worked at the Boston Consulting Group. Jim holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in History from Stanford University. He holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School.
Aron Levitz is the Director of Content Acquisition and Entertainment at Research in Motion (RIM). He overseas global content acquisition and the relationships in the music, movie, TV and sports worlds. Prior to his three years at RIM, Aron worked at a series of companies ranging from the social gaming and interactive TV space to those working on the cutting edge of mobile hardware. Aron holds both a Bachelor and Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
