TechniCLE Speaking: A Summit Launching Dialogue Among NEO Tech, Nearby Capital, and Local Government
By Joyce Schwarz, author, speaker, consultant, jcombusinessdevelopment.com
Just a quick update for @techsummit #techniclespeaking -- found the press release for Weds event which is attracting more than 150 VIP's and attendees to discuss future of Cleveland's tech scene.
Fascinating to see that Clevelanddotcom poll says 60 percent of Cleveland tech firms dont get enough support from City.
Just realized by reviewing the great Jones Day press release that TechniClespeaking @cletechsummit Michael DeAloia @techczar name isn't on the release-- that I can see (was it really left off?). So I'm going to rectify that by sharing a live podcast I just did with Michael today -- stay tuned...be posting that this afternoon.
Meanwhile you can follow my tweets about the event and the Cleveland Tech and Startup scene @clestartup and of course, my professional twitter account @joycecom
Hope to live blog the event on Weds....
Here's that Jones Day press release to see the list of all of the invited speakers, great to hear from DeAloia @techczarcle that there will be lots of interactivity and time in between the speakers to network at breakout sessions.
Jones Day press release posted on the jonesday.com website about Weds event:

Reception to follow
TechniCLE Speaking is a half-day series of short talks and panel discussions with light moderation and frequent audience interaction on issues directly related to Cleveland’s emerging technology sector, including local capital raising; forging connections between government and established and emerging industries; and workforce development, both foreign and domestic.
We want to have a candid conversation that elicits feedback from the tech community, educates public officials, and starts a thousand relationships between industry, civic leaders, and local government. TechniCLE Speaking is intended to break down barriers and inform public policy.
This is not intended to be a series of monologues. We’re not interested in gathering folks together to be talked at. Freewheeling audience participation will be encouraged. And we want you to be part of the dialogue. It’s past time to come together. We hope to see you on the afternoon of May 20.
